10 Red Flags When Vetting a Man

As a woman of God, you should value your virtue, your temple, and the Holy Spirit that resides within you.

Your body, mind, and spirit are important to you, and who you share your energy with is vital to your overall health and peace.

An intimate relationship with a man is a deep, soul-binding situation, and that’s why satan tries to use men against women to create toxic, energy-sucking relationships that could pull your attention from God and the purpose God has for you. That’s one of the reasons why it is essential to create a relationship with the Most High, be in a quiet, secret place with HIM daily to gain more discernment through his knowledge and words.

These are ten signs to pay attention to when vetting a man who may potentially become your husband or is, and these are not in order.

  1. Nervous About his phone

This major red flag lets you know he is hiding something. Take it to God and ask for the truth, as your health, mind, body, and spirit are depending on HIM.

Examples would be him being caught in situations where he is vulnerable to give you his phone such as if he is driving, and on the phone, and the person on the phone is someone you also know and asks to talk to you and he gives you his phone in deep hesitation, constantly taking his eyes off the road.

Or, someone calls his phone, he’s unsure of who it is so he’s lowering the volume as soon as he hears a woman’s voice.

Your “gut feeling” is the Holy Spirit letting you know something is off. Ask God and HE will show you, but be prepared for the truth, and want to make your life better by letting go of the problem if he wasn’t sent from God.

  1. PH balance is off

As a woman, you are held to a standard of smelling good. A PH that’s thrown off can leave you fishy, and itchy, and can result in unfavorable discharge that leaves you feeling unclean all the time.

Of course, some women can be more sensitive, but if you started becoming sexually active with a guy and your whole PH is thrown out of whack, that isn’t a healthy sign.

Bacterial Vaginousous is ironically especially common among African Americans. I find that interesting because we are the culture that is propagated as the one with the “rached” women and unfaithful, ghetto men. You know, the love and hip-hop vibe.

But there can be other causes such as “the clap”, chlamydia which is also very common and treatable, but when left untreated can be extensively damaging for the reproductive health of a female human, and or the trich aka trichotomous, the irony of the name still gets me till this day.

Though the above std’s are unclean, the lifelong, spine-paralyzing ones are also circulating in the matrix, so the health of your relationship can determine your overall health in this life. Be careful who you choose to sleep with.

  1. Does not talk about God, Jesus Christ

A man that fears God is a true man.

Proverbs 9:10-12 KJV “The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: And the knowledge of the holy is understanding. For by me thy days shall be multiplied, and the years of thy life shall be increased. If thou be wise, thou shalt be wise for thyself: But if thou scornest, thou alone shalt bear it.”

A man that has the strongest foundation you can ever have (The Most High God), that is one sturdy man.

He has the wisdom and understanding to operate in a wicked world. He isn’t as easily tempted nor deep in willful and or ignorant sin as much as men who seek approval from the world.

  1. Is a “bad boy”

With movies, tv shows, teen dramas, and music videos raising kids, it’s no wonder girls growing up fall for the “bad guy”. This can be your life on the edge, don’t play by the rules, a stereotypical guy who totes an illegal gloc on his hip.

You know, the one who gets girls and gets locked up.

Avoid these men at all costs. They can be poisonous to your life. Let God change them if that’s what HE permits, not you.

  1. Constantly eyes other women, or acts strange around other women

This is pretty much self-explanatory. If he plays you out in public, he can definitely play you behind your back.

  1. Doesn’t invite you to see his family

If you’ve been seeing each other for a long time, and he doesn’t mention bringing you around people he cares about or doesn’t want to, you should question if he’s taking you seriously. In some cultures, men don’t even talk to a woman unless they get the approval of their father. This shows seriousness.

There are men that don’t care about your time or your feelings and want to “explore their options” and leave you in the dark.

  1. Listens to worldly music all the time

The music that’s mainstream has become less about talent and more about appearances, agendas, and whatnot. A lot of mainstream music is allegedly prayed on with demonic intentions before release to invoke anxiety, depression and release familiar spirits.

If this is your man’s anthem as soon as he gets up, there should be some level of concern here.

Consult the Most High.

  1. Watches pornography/ needs to masturbate like his life depends on it

If he’s causing havoc on the socks in his wardrobe or there’s a scarcity of tissue paper in your house, and you know he’s an avid porn watcher, you can be allowing demonic entities into your home. Porn is a portal into your life that can cause utter destruction.

The people acting in the scenes are tormented and those energies permeate through whatever screen you’re watching.

  1. Has no motivation

This can be due to excessive drug use, weed, alcohol, or all of the above. There are men out there that want to live a certain lifestyle they see in the movies and think “yolo” when in reality that is a lie perpetuated through the masses from nonother than the op. Through Jesus Christ is the path to everlasting life.

  1. Smokes/drugs

Now, I’m not here to cast stones. Simply pointing out the implications of red flags that can cause you pain.

  • The opposition uses “holes” in your life to enter through and drag you down. Smoking weed is one of them.
  • While the plant cannabis has a long list of medical benefits, smoking is actually doing the opposite of helping your lungs, and many street cannabis products are derived from plant pesticides and toxins that leak into the plant.
  • Also, the potential of other lethal street drugs mixing in with the bud can cause life-altering symptoms like mental illness.
  • Smoking can also lead to prolonged procrastination, lack of motivation, and asthmatic symptoms.
  • Smoking is also not good for your voice box, so if singing is your talent, beware.
  • Studies have also shown that smoking weed can lead to sexual dysfunction in men involving sperm shape and count. Of course, do your own research, but this was done on a small group of over a decade of findings.

The point that I’m getting at is your life can be better without it. Smoking can let in negative energy into your life and create a foggy lifestyle of repetition of habits that don’t serve you.

Men can be very impressionable to women in relationships. Think about it, he’s dominating you, humbling you, so aren’t his ways going to rub off on you? You will rub off on each other, and if he is in this space of constantly smoking, that can possibly rub off on you.

Especially if you have smoked in the past and are trying to move on from the addiction.

Also, bud has a way of increasing and arousing you sexually. Everybody reacts differently to bud, but if a man is constantly relieving himself and draining himself of energy, it can leave him limited to his daily productivity.

Also, it can leave him open to spiritual attacks. In the Bible KJV HE says,

“Wherefore I put thee in remembrance that thou stir up the gift of God, which is in thee by the putting on of my hands. [7] For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

Our Lord wants us to be of sound mind. Being under the influence can impair your judgment and leave him susceptible to spiritual attacks and wrong decision-making.

Conclusion

At the end of the day, bring everything to The Lord God.
